2011 - 2012 Annual Awards Banquet
The Cleveland Touchdown Club Charities Annual Awards Banquet is the
oldest "football only" awards banquet in the country. Awards
are presented to the outstanding players and coaches at the professional,
collegiate, and high school level for their excellence throughout the
season. The Touchdown Club also honors the MVP's of the Cleveland Muny
Football League.
Keynote Speaker: Oliver Luck
Oliver Luck is the athletic director of West Virginia University, his alma mater. Luck is a retired American football player who spent four seasons as a quarterback for the Houston Oilers (1983–1986). He was also the first president and general manager of the Houston Dynamo of Major League Soccer (MLS). Under his watch, the Dynamo won the MLS Cup in 2006 and 2007. He is also a 1978 graduate from St. Ignatius High School
He is the father of current Stanford Cardinal quarterback Andrew Luck, the expected first pick in the 2012 NFL Draft of the Indianapolis Colts.
